Increased visibility and safety
Reflective tapes are essential for ensuring visibility in low-light situations, such as in safety vests. Our BEMICOAT coatings enforce these tapes by:
• Durability: Protecting against wear and tear during use, frequent washing and exposure to various environmental factors
• Flexibility: Maintaining the flexibility of the tape, which is essential for the wearer’s comfort and freedom of movement
Repellent properties

Antistatic properties
In clean rooms, static electricity is undesirable, static electricity can attract dust particles that disrupt the work in the clean room. Schmits has developed the additive BEMISTAT SP, which is used to give textiles antistatic properties, so that these problems are minimised.

No, Schmits develops and produces waterborne solutions used by textile manufacturers to achieve specific properties.
Yes. Schmits can supply both chemical and textile samples. We can provide small chemical samples to customers, so they can test them in their lab. Additionally, Schmits can treat textiles on a small scale (A4 size) to test the performance and effects of the chemical solutions. In certain cases, we can also conduct a small scale trial (50 cm width) on our pilot plant.
