With our craftsmanship and professional expertise, we know how to help our customers, both in the field of coatings for the textile industry and solutions for professional cleaning. In addition, we enjoy working with clients that wish to outsource their production. Our working method is one of scientific creativity and with the knowledge available to us, we constantly strive to improve quality.
Every day, we work from our office and production plant in Almelo, the Netherlands. This is where all of our products are developed and produced, before being distributed worldwide. We offer an extensive product portfolio for the textile and non-woven market with six product groups to produce specific effects on a textile substrate and create added value. We also offer a wide range of professional cleaning products used by end users such as cleaning companies, specialised maintenance contractors and in industrial environments. In addition, thanks to our years of experience and efficient facilities, we are the ideal partner for toll manufacturing – such as production possibilities, R&D work or packaging/repackaging of your product. All under strict terms of confidentiality, of course.

Schmits believes in innovation! With our own R&D department, we have a wide variety of development and testing possibilities in-house.
We offer efficient and client-oriented technical support for development requests and actively look for targeted tailor-made solutions – always focusing on properties and performance. Because we carry out the development ourselves, from start to finish, we can do this on a short time scale, making samples, technical documentation and MSDS’ quickly available.
